On the 24th of June, Wendy and I performed for Auma Obama during the presentation of the Martin Buber plaque in PL theater Kerkrade. She received this award because she gives a 'voice' to many young people through her Foundation 'Sauti Kuu'. Auma Obama was born in Nairobi in 1960. She is the older sister of the former president of the United States, Barack Obama. She studied at the universities of Heidelberg and Bayreuth, graduating in 1996 with a doctorate in philosophy. She is a special lady and an inspiring example for “love for life and her fellow man.” BEAUTIFUL!
