The Maestro & The European Pop Orchestra is a contemporary pop orchestra led by orchestra leader, violin soloist and composer Guido Dieteren. Together with singer and wife Wendy Kokkelkoren, Guido and his orchestra prove that pop and classical blend harmoniously.

The pop meets classic music style guarantees a musical total experience full of romance, emotion, passion and energy. Well-known melodies are redesigned and complemented by many self-composed works by Guido.

The Maestro & The European Pop Orchestra, together with singer Wendy Kokkelkoren, are performing on home ground and Kerkrade's Market Square was transformed, once again,  into an atmospheric concert arena with purple runners and cozy terraces.
The concert has been recorded for several years in a row now and as in previous years, it is a fantastic, musical event with great guest artists, including the Irish friend Tommy Flemming, René Schuman & Angel-Eye, pop singer Roy Verbeek and none other than The Dutch Tenors!

Tommy Flemming from Ireland sings from his soul – He breathes raw emotion into each and every song, be it his own arrangement, a classic cover or a dynamic duet. Fluent and flawless, his unique voice has touched the hearts of many, right across the globe.

The Dutch Tenors is the newest classical pop sensation out there! This sharply dressed quartet, consists of 4 young rising stars that have perfomed in musical theatre shows and operas all over the world.

René Schuman & Angel-Eye, Mr & Mrs Rock’n Roll set every theatre on fire with their shows. With timeless music by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and the Everly Brothers, among others, they know how to bring the audience into ecstasy time after time.
